Shades of Her | A Poetry by Alicia Van Akker

She breathes in hues of blushing dawn,  

Where rose and silk in dreams are drawn,  

A symphony of pinks and lace,  

She paints her world with gentle grace.  

Her love for beauty, soft and sweet,  

In colors blooming at her feet,  

She’s elegance in velvet’s glow,  

With every step, a petal’s flow.  

In fashion’s art, she finds her muse,  

Each fabric tells a story’s hues,  

From pastel blush to ruby’s gleam,  

Her style’s a whisper, light as cream.  

She wanders through boutiques of charm,  

With bracelets wrapped around her arm,  

A girl of taste, a lady rare,  

Who finds delight in things to wear.  

The world is brighter through her gaze,  

A canvas in the softest phase,  

Where art and threads and makeup’s glow,  

Unveil the beauty she bestows.  

She smiles at mirrors, warm and coy,  

In every shade, she finds pure joy,  

For pink is more than just a shade,  

It’s how her heart and soul cascade.  

In ribbons, pearls, and artful flair,  

She crafts a life beyond compare,  

A woman’s love in blush displayed,  

An art that never fades away.  

So let her world of colors blend,  

With beauty that will never end,  

For in her hands, the world’s redefine,  

A masterpiece of pink entwined.
